Who we are

Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or place an order.
- Order and booking details — items ordered, pickup selections, event dates, guest counts, and notes you provide.
- Payment information — processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data — basic, non-identifying analytics such as pages visited, used to improve the site and app.
How we use your information
We use your information to fulfill meal orders and catering bookings, send order confirmations and pickup reminders, respond to inquiries, process payments and refunds where applicable, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, and our email delivery provider. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Order and booking records are kept for as long as needed for business and tax purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@platinumpalatecatering.com. Account deletion requests are honored within 30 days, except for records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; transactional order emails will still be sent.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Mobile app
The Platinum Palate mobile app displays our website inside a native shell. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or location, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of our site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
